This Synergy honours the Medicine Wheel of Peruvian Shamanism with the Andean Aromas, and was so inspiring. At each direction of the wheel, we embody an archetype. In the South, the Healer’s Journey, we learn about Sachamama, the serpent archetype who inspires us to shed the past and detach from wounds and personal stories. My first thought around the creation of Sachamama was to use Sage for cleansing, purifying and releasing, as Sage imparts a fresh, green and medicinal scent. I knew I wanted to deepen the aroma to invoke a rich, belly-on-the-earth aroma, so I chose Vetiver as well as Myrrh, which is a resin and offers ceremonial healing energy. Sachamama Synergy is luminous, and invokes for me a feeling of being on the earth, shedding my outmoded self, rebirthing new ways of being in my body, encouraging movement and fluidity, and building resiliency. My favourite ways to experience Sachamama are in the diffuser, spritzer, or as a roll-on elixir.
